The Sun Belt reinstated men's soccer in 2022 after a brief hiatus, rebuilding around six full members plus three affiliate members whose home conferences (the SEC and Big 12) don't sponsor men's soccer: Kentucky, South Carolina, and West Virginia. UCF joined as a full member in 2023. Kentucky won the 2025 regular-season title and UCF won the 2025 tournament title.
